Did I say “took” some images? Yes that’s what we all do now. We love to meet people specially when we travel and meet locals to have a sneak peek of their ways and experience at least an atom of their life, we take pictures, we take endless selfies. We learn how to appreciate what we have by them showing what their life is, a life of not having everything but yet willing to give what they have. But do we really make a difference to them? Do we leave mark on their door steps? Do we have something to leave to them so you can say” I was here”.
During my past travels, I’m longing share something to them, longing to know more and connect. That’s why this project came up.
In partnership with Kodak Photo Printer Philippines, we believe how images can bring joy in happiness to someone. Nowadays where technology reaches almost everywhere, we will embark to a journey to some remote places looking to find people who haven’t seen themselves in a photograph, at first I was skeptical on the mission to look for these people because it’s now the 20th century. But I was lucky enough to find some soul who’s waiting to see their “FIRST PHOTOGRAPH”
In few weeks, will show you more up close and in details their stories and my experience along with them. So watch this space.
