The year was 2011 when Dave and I decided to have a dog, and I specifically wanted to have a choco Labrador, both of us are fond of huge dog,the first time I brought his furry paws at home, Dad asked me " why did you get a horse?" and Aalee was just 2 weeks old by that time and yes Dad was overreacting!, I know that we don't really have lots of space in the house, but it's just enough for this cute fella to call it home.
He got sick on his first week of stay at home, that got me so worried, but thanks to our friendly vet who gave us brilliant advice and help, after a week of medication and stress, he finally recovered from viral infection, probably he got it from the litter where he came from.I was so relieved it was heartbreaking to see your dog suffering from something, and can't even scream!
Just in case you are thinking where I got his name from? I wanted to give a name that would remind me of my late mother ( Alice ).As he grows he definitely shows his distinct personality! and it's GOOFY!
When we do have guest at home, he definitely shows his funny antics, and wont stop bugging you,oh yes! he is not the shy type! He became the tourist attraction in the house.
And the person who said " why did you get a horse?" ( my dad ) fell in love with him. Dogs are the special angels in our lives. They listen to us when we need to talk, they comfort us when we are down, they make us laugh at their silly antics and they often allow us to see ourselves in a different light. Aalee is the first thing I see when I wake up, And the last thing I see when I sleep, He patiently waits everyday for my return and gives me warm welcome the moment I open the door.
