It first started with a brainstorming session in a (figaro)coffee shop, where Paula came prepared with great magazine inspirations and a REALLY open mind. This started out REALLY fun for me, the possibilities were ENDLESS!! I was excited to dive in a little deeper.I was thinking to have a magazine inspired website that would make you feel that you are flipping through it's page.
As you may think of , I kind of already knew the concept of the design going into the project. , so it was obvious what look we were going for. We wanted the vibe to be editorial, sleek, and very Magazine-ny. WE also wanted the design to go well with my blog layout, We checked some wedding blogs, and we wanted to have most prime colors vs pastel colors though I love pastel colors too!
After we knew what elements to use on the site, we started stitching things up, We were getting so excited as we were slowly seeing the progress and the feel of the site! We wanted to have different feel on different pages, but also not over doing it, So we have different layout background on some specific pages.
a collage of sweet magazine desserts from fashion to wedding magazines!
We decided to have two kinds of homepage aside from the one above a more simple sleek approach , having a little dynamic look and damask background and also removing the "fox" logo and leaving just the name on top, with a customizable video that will serves as the main entrance of the website.
We still want to use the damask wall art on this page for it brings that classic look, adding a nice folded magazine layout on the background** sweet**
